Norwegian Wool Outerwear

''Elisabeth Stray Pedersen developed a program of coats, jackets and scarves for ESP AW21 collection inspired by our way of life in Norway, where we are a lot outside in a variation of temperature, activity and the need of looking representable and comfortably warm at the same time. Therefore we combined lavalan wool insulation with our classic tweed. Wool insulation is a substitute for synthetic insulation or down and gives a comfortable warming alternative that also has many positive benefits for both the person wearing it and nature.

The lavalan wool insulation we use is made of Norwegian wool. Norwegian sheep walk freely in the highlands a big part of the year. They graze in the outland, where they play an important role in maintaining biodiversity in Norwegian nature. In the outlands some of the most endangered species in Norwegian nature can be found. The sheep help maintain the diversity.''
