Woolen Saddle Cloths
"Sportsfreund is a German company, seeking to design and produce the most functional and most beautiful clothing for Icelandic horses. While our headquarters are located in Munich, we have our rugs sewn in nearby eastern Bavaria, many materials being produced regionally. Our aim is to make our products more and more sustainable. For the padding of our woolen saddle cloths we were lucky enough to discover lavalan – a beautiful and thoroughly functional product, meeting high environmental and animal welfare standards. To make things perfect, lavalan is also produced in Bavaria."
